The Arab and Chaldean Festival will take place at Hart Plaza, located in downtown Detroit. The Arab World Festival was established as a non-profit community organization in 1972 and is now known as the Arab and Chaldean Festival. It is the largest Arab Chaldean American cultural event in North America. Each year, thousands of people of all ages attend the festival during the two day event activities.
The festival features a variety of Arab and Chaldean food, ethnic cultural gallery exhibits and an impressive list of Middle Eastern live performers. The festival will also include folklore dance troupes and a fashion show scheduled on July 30 at 8 p.m.
