A first-of-its-kind initiative, “Let’s Meet in The D!” actively recruits companies and associations to host meetings in metro Detroit. The program was unveiled to diversify and grow economic development in southeast Michigan. Whether it’s a meeting of 5 or 5,000, if all local businesses moved just 10 percent of their meetings to the region, the economic impact could be staggering.
