Board Election & Proxy

The Annual Meeting of the members of Visit Detroit will take place at Michigan Central on Jan. 29, 2025 at 10 a.m. EST for the purpose of electing 12 directors.

In accordance with Visit Detroit bylaws, the bureau’s Nominating Committee has met and prepared a slate of candidates for election to a term ending in December 2027. The slate information follows here for your information.

Visit Detroit bylaws provide that each member organization may cast one vote in the election of board members; that vote is to be cast at this Annual Meeting by the holder of the membership or the designated member representative on file with the DMCVB.

In the event you will be unable to attend the Annual Meeting, you are invited to assign your proxy to DMCVB Officer (President and CEO) Claude Molinari to cast your vote.

To assign your proxy to the bureau’s officer, complete the form below by Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, if you are unable to attend the meeting in person and cast your vote in person.

If you are assigning your vote to Visit Detroit, it will be the intention of Claude Molinari to vote for the candidates endorsed by the nominating committee unless such authority is withheld.

Proxy Vote

The undersigned being a member in good standing with Visit Detroit, hereby appoints:

Claude Molinari, Visit Detroit, President and CEO, as true and lawful proxy to cast all votes which the undersigned is entitled to cast at the Annual Meeting, on Jan. 29, 2025 or any adjournments thereof.
