2022 DELP Tour Survey

The time to select your tours for your time in Detroit this month. Please review the tour selections below for your time in town for the 2022 DELP Reunion. Once you have reviewed the options, rank your preference in the corresponding drop-down menu. Remember that on Saturday June 18, 2022 you are not able to switch from one tour to another.
Join us as we go on an adventure to historic Eastern Market. Eastern Markets is one of the largest and oldest public market in the United States. It offers local residence, farm to fork produce as well as an open-air flowerbed market and has more than 150 foods and specialty businesses. On Saturdays, about 45,000 people shop the city's historic Eastern Market. After our tour of Eastern Market we will depart for a driving city tour of Detroit.

DELP Alumni will have an opportunity to host a Community Youth Empowerment Session to help mentor and educate Detroit youth on the professional association industry and hospitality/tourism industry. The goal is to encourage an empower young Detroiters to be successful in whatever career path they choose. DELP Alumni will have a chance to interact with age groups ranging from 14-24 years old from diverse backgrounds. This session will be held at MotorCity Casino Hotel in Ballroom BC. Dressing confidently for a job interview can make or break how your present yourself to a potential employer. Join Allison Vaughn, CEO of Jackets for Jobs, to learn more about how her non-profit organization provides comprehensive services to low-income individuals seeking economic self-sufficiency through employment. Jackets for Jobs, Inc. provides clients with career skills training, employment etiquette training and interview or work appropriate attire. Our goal is to send 20 program participants full work outfits and resources, to aide them as they make their way into the workforce. Help us meet our goal and bring new or gently used shoes, purses, notebook, or business attire accessories that might prepare someone for the beginning of their professional journey.
