Detroit, Mich. – The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau (DMCVB) is excited to announce five new participating attractions to The D Discount Pass, a downloadable pass designed to save visitors money on admission to metro Detroit attractions.
New participants include:
- Comedy Sportz Detroit, buy one admission, get one free
- Detroit Princess Riverboat, 20 percent off admission
- Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus, $2 off adult admission
- Meadow Brook Hall, $5 off an adult tour admission
- Outdoor Adventure Center, buy one admission, get one free
“Since the program’s inception in 2014, more than 12,000 tourists and locals have taken advantage of The D Discount Pass,” said Larry Alexander, DMCVB President and CEO. “We’re thrilled to have new attractions on board, adding variety to this free program that helps visitors save money while in metro Detroit.”
The five new additions expand the impressive list of current participating attractions, which include: Arab American National Museum, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, Edsel & Eleanor Ford House, Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, The Henry Ford, Michigan Science Center, Motown Museum and Sea Life Michigan Aquarium.
“The D Discount Pass is a great way for people to experience first-hand all that metro Detroit has to offer,” said Dr. Tonya Matthews, Michigan Science Center President and CEO. “The Michigan Science Center is pleased to participate again in 2016, and we look forward to the opportunity to share our fun, interactive and engaging programs and experiences focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) with children and curious minds of all ages.”
The pass is valid for one person per visit and can be used multiple times through the end of 2016. Visitors can complete a brief online form to download The D Discount Pass barcode via a mobile device, email or printed voucher. To apply the discount, visitors must show The D Discount Pass barcode to staff at the time of purchase.
