Michigan’s largest pride celebration with more than 40,000 participants!
Join for the annual Motor City Pride — a colorful, brave and beautiful celebration of the area’s LGBTQ+ community. The largely volunteer-run organization sets the stage for live music, dance, poetry and burlesque performances, a parade around downtown and a peace-seeking vigil honoring those affected by violence and intolerance. Pride is an important and unifying community event that welcomes all to attend.
The festival will feature more than a dozen different food vendors and food trucks that will be selling everything from vegetarian items and grilled food to pizza and burgers. These booths will also have soft drinks and water available for purchase. For the adults, the beverage areas will feature Miller Light and Summer Shandy as well as a selection of craft beers from Griffin Claw Brewery. Frozen Red Bull slushes, margaritas and daiquiris will be available at the Pride Stage Bar. An assortment of vodka drinks will be available on the Riverfront Patio.
There is a small $5 entry fee.
