Movie Nights in the D – The Wizard of Oz

Presented by Capital One Café and supported by Faygo, families and friends can enjoy a variety of beloved films on the big screen at Campus Martius Park during our free outdoor movie series. Bring a chair or blanket to join us on the lawn for a relaxing summer evening under the stars. Join us at starting at 6 p.m. before select movies to enjoy special onsite activations prior to the movie start at 7 p.m.

August 11 – The Wizard of Oz | G

Young Dorothy Gale and her dog are swept away by a tornado from their Kansas farm to the magical Land of Oz, and embark on a quest with three new friends to see the Wizard, who can return her to her home and fulfill the others’ wishes.
