The 2021 Fair dates will be July 9-18, 2021. ************************************************************************************************** The Oakland County Fair is original entertainment at its finest. Join for ten straight days of family fun with a focus on agriculture this summer. Expect a Dirt Bike of Death Globe, a demo derby, fireworks, petting zoo, battle of the bands, lawn mower rodeo (yes, you read that correctly), a livestock sale, Figure 8 Racing and the Miracle of Birth Barn. Don’t forget the carnival rides and food, of course. Here's some history to proof just how original we're talking. The Oakland County Fair was founded by the Milford Agricultural Society in the 1880s. It was held annually until World War II in 1940. The Fair returned as an annual event again in 1945. While the Fair remains a source of community, it also serves as an educational opportunity, a connection with agriculture and family friendly entertainment. The mission of the Oakland County Fair is to provide a public educational showcase for our youth through hands-on experience with exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations, helping them develop life skills in a family atmosphere.Springfield Oaks County Park
