DWCPA Executive Director, Mark Schrupp, said, “Port Days will be a combination of fun activities along our beautiful Riverwalk – and we’ll inject a little history and information about how important the precious waterways of the Great Lakes have been and continue to be for our livelihoods here in Metro Detroit and Michigan. We take it for granted, but we owe so much of our prosperity in this region to marine transportation and it’s important to learn about it and support a sustainable future within the Great Lakes.”  Port Detroit - on the Riverwalk
