Wednesday, May 10, 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 4-8 p.m. Sights and Sounds Concert Series is in conjunction with the monthly Food Truck Rally, May-August. Sights and Sounds is a free outdoor concert with local performances starting at 4:30 p.m. with a children’s performance, 5:30 p.m. warm up band and 7 p.m. main act. Check the Royal Oak Farmers Market Facebook page and Instagram account for more information. The concert will take place in the West Parking Lot of the Royal Oak Farmer's Market. Rain or shine. The concert will be moved inside the market for inclement weather. Wednesday, May 10 - The Music Lady (4:30 p.m.), Pinter Whitnick (5:30 p.m.) and The Groove Council (7 p.m.) Wednesday, June 14 - Family Pride Event - Detroit Circus Stilt Walkers and Juggler (4 p.m.), Drag Queen Story Time (5 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.), PRISM Men's Chorus (5:30 p.m.) and Captain Fantastic Detroit (7 p.m.) Wednesday, July 12 - The Music Lady (4:30 p.m.), Mercury 7 (5:30 p.m.) and Big Poppa and the Machine (7 p.m.) Wednesday, August 9 - Magic Show (4:30 p.m.), The Royal Oak Blues Band (5:30 p.m.) and The Reefermen (7 p.m.) Royal Oak Family Pride, a family-centered pride event will be held on Wednesday, June 14 at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market from 4 p.m.-9 p.m. This annual event will be a celebration of Royal Oak's diverse LGBTQIA+ community, focusing on our city's many queer families and their children. Featuring family-friendly activities like musical performers, crafts, food trucks, entertainment for kids from local community members, and a Drag Queen Story Time, this event is the perfect way to celebrate June's Pride Month. For 2023, Royal Oak Family Pride will be hosting stilt walers and jugglers, Captain Fantastic Detroit, an Elton John tribute band that will take the stage at 7 p.m. This event is a themed version of Royal Oak Farmer's Market monthly Food Truck Rally.
