GM River Days is a summer staple that usually takes place over a weekend in June along the Detroit riverfront – from the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority Terminal & Dock, just west of the GM Renaissance Center, to Rivard Plaza and the William G. Milliken State Park.
River Days is a celebration of Detroit’s International RiverWalk with activities on land and water, and even in the sky. While experiencing all the RiverWalk has to offer, event-goers can also take in a variety of activities, including everything from personal watercraft demos, riverboat tours and zip line rides to live music, delicious eats and quirky acts from random street performers. An air show has been on the lineup in past years as well. And there's always the go-to kids zone for family fun.
