Get Ready for the Rocket Mortgage Classic at these Golf Shops

The Rocket Mortgage Classic is coming back to Detroit, giving a golf-hungry city and state a chance to see some of the world’s best golfers at the historic Detroit Golf Club.

If you’re heading to the tournament for the first time or just another time, you’ll want to stock up on some golf apparel, and maybe even hit the range for fun to see how your game compares.

Below are some of the best golf shops and driving ranges in metro Detroit.

Carl’s Golfland

They have locations in Bloomfield Hills and Plymouth and serve tens of thousands of people every year. Miles of Golf

About 40 minutes west of Detroit, Miles of Golf in Ypsilanti is described as one of the top club-fitting facilities in the country.

The golf shop has clubs from brands around the country, plus a huge area for shoes and apparel.

They also have a huge practice facility with a TopTracer range which will show you data from your swing, plus let you play a lot of different games. For something a little fancier, you can rent the TopTracer Masters suites which also have bar and food service and couches and tables to hang at while you’re not hitting.

The Tennis and Golf Company

Located along Woodward Ave. in Royal Oak, The Tennis & Golf Company sells a bunch of different clubs and accessories, plus clothing, hats, gloves, balls, and more.

Greyson Clothiers

Greyson Clothiers is the sponsor of some of the world’s best golfers like Justin Thomas and Matthew Fitzpatrick, and they have an incredible store along Woodward Ave. in Downtown Detroit.

It’s the company’s flagship store, and they have a huge selection of Greyson products for both men and women. Their polos are some of the best in golf, and you can set up a styling appointment if you want to learn more.

Nike Outlet Store

The Nike Outlet Store on Woodward in Downtown Detroit has some golf clothing if you’re looking to get fit before the Rocket Mortgage Classic. There you can get polos, pants, shorts, and hats from one of golf’s most well-known brands.

Under Armour Outlet

North of Detroit inside the Great Lakes Crossing Outlet, the Under Armour store has a huge golf area where you can get golf apparel from the company at outlet prices.

There you’ll find polos, pants, shorts, hats, quarter-zips, belts, shoes, and more for the tournament.

Belle Isle Driving Range

The Belle Isle Driving Range is on the east end of the island and the owners just upgraded the range to include TopTracer technology.

The range also has a practice area and a 6-hole short course where you can get some work in. They sell the latest Travis Mathew apparel as well.
