Our Go Safely Initiative:
Combating COVID-19

Take our pledge OR Receive GBAC STAR accreditation. Keep our visitors safe.

Tourist wearing a face mask arrives at hotel.

In these unprecedented times, the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau is being bold and proactive about its commitment to health and safety — of our visitors as well as all of our hard-working partners that help make the city of Detroit a top leisure and meeting destination.

That’s why we have created our Go Safely initiative, which aims to ensure that all visitors to the metro Detroit area know how committed we are to their welfare.

To our hospitality partners, Go Safely is a call to action with a simple request. All you need to do to join us in this important safety initiative is to take our Go Safely Pledge OR receive GBAC STAR accreditation.
