How Delta Air Lines is Keeping Passengers Safe During COVID-19

Delta’s new CareStandard™ focuses on giving all passengers a cleaner, safer and larger space, along with personal care at every point in their travels. Some highlights of their CareStandard™ include:
- Reduced touch points between staff and passengers during the flight
- Increased sanitation at check in
- Temperature check of all customer-facing employees
- All employees wearing face masks
- Electrostatic spraying of disinfectant at the gate, jet bridges and inside the plane
- Back to front boarding
- Extra sanitizing of bathrooms, overhead bins and arm rests
- Required face masks for passengers during the flight, except for during meal time
- Keeping the middle seat empty during all flights
