Movement Electronic Music Festival

Movement has been postponed until September, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start preparing now. This techno music fest takes place every year in Hart Plaza, in heart of the city where techno started.

The Detroit Opera House showcases some of the most impressive opera talent in the country every year. If you’ve never seen a live opera performance, it’s truly something to put on your bucket list. But for now, you can listen to some of the best opera tunes, selected by Arthur White of Michigan Opera Theatre.

Sound Board at MotorCity Casino

The Sound Board has hosted comedians and musicians alike, such as Melissa Etheridge, Vanessa Williams, JB Smoove, Margaret Cho, Boyz II Men, Patti LaBelle, Brandi Carlile and more. They’ve created two playlists: Shelter in Playlist is upbeat with tons of throwback tunes, while the Sound Board 2020 Easy Listening playlist provides chill vibes for the perfect night in.

Royal Oak Music Theatre

Over in Royal Oak, the Royal Oak Music Theatre hosts some of the best upcoming acts as they tour the country. They’ve created a fun, alternative playlist for the month of March, plus a playlist to get you in the mood for Mo Pop 2020 this summer.
