Overview
Michigan Central is excited to introduce Fridays at The Station, a new monthly music series set to be Detroit’s next great night out. Each event will feature live performances, local food and drink, and immersive cultural experiences—all set at one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
The series kicks off Friday, April 18 from 5-10 p.m. with a standout lineup featuring renowned jazz bassist and a pillar of Detroit’s jazz scene Marion Hayden, alongside ameera, known for her eclectic, genre-blending, vinyl-spinning sets.
Fridays at The Station will take place every third Friday of the month at Michigan Central, curating unexpected musical mashups that cross genres, generations, and styles, from jazz trios to rising stars and more.
