The iconic Avenue of Fashion is once again ready to dazzle Detroit with its most anticipated summer celebration — Jazz on the Ave & Customer Appreciation Day, taking place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, along Livernois Avenue between Eight Mile and Clarita. This vibrant annual tradition brings together a full day of live music, fashion, food, community pride, and local commerce, creating a festival atmosphere that celebrates everything unique about Detroit's Avenue of Fashion.

One of the main highlights of the event is a runway showcase by Detroit’s #1 boutique – Teasers Boutique, located right on the Avenue. Throughout the day, additional live fashion shows from other local boutiques will showcase the city's bold summer trends and creative style.

This year's spectacular parade will be a centerpiece of the event, bringing excitement and unity to the Avenue. The parade will feature a dynamic mix of cultural, musical, and automotive pride including:

- The Classic Car Cruise with over 100 vintage vehicles

- The Detroit Citywide Marching Band with powerful performance

- Caribbean performers and musicians energizing the route

- The legendary Buffalo Soldiers motorcycle club

- The Detroit Police Department Mounted Unit

- The Urban Cowboy on horseback

- GMC Ferndale showcasing their most exclusive vehicles

Together, these groups create an unforgettable parade experience that
reflects the heart and soul of Detroit.

Entertainment & Attractions

• Live Jazz Performances by Lord Yancyy – Detroit’s renowned saxophonist brings soulful jazz energy to the Avenue.

• Authentic Jamaican Rhythms by Don Vincent – Enjoy island vibes as Don Vincent delivers dynamic Jamaican music.

• Hustle Dance Sessions – Join in and get moving with group hustle dancing in the street at 19353 Livernois!

• Classic Car Cruise – 4:00 PM – Led by the legendary Buffalo Soldiers, with over 100 classic cars and 40 motorcycles. GMC Ferndale, under Mr. Kevin Maples, will also display high-end vehicles.

• Caribbean Celebration – Steel drums, Caribbean performers, and a full band at Livernois & Outer Drive.

• Thanksgiving Parade Floats & Props – The Detroit Parade Company is bringing colorful floats and giant props to the Avenue, adding magic and photo-worthy moments to the event.

• Detroit Citywide Marching Band – Sidewalk performances

Mike’s Market – Family Fun Zone

A must-visit area with:

- Bounce houses, face painting, and kids’ games

- Free food

- Live entertainment

- Giveaways all day long
