This one-night-only performance will set the legendary Aretha’s Jazz Café ablaze with heart, history, and the haunting beauty of jazz—brought to life by four of Detroit’s most powerful and celebrated vocalists.
Featuring:
Juanita Black – Sultry, bold, unforgettable. A Detroit gem whose storytelling voice commands any stage.
Lady Vonne – The velvet-voiced diva with echoes of Phyllis Hyman, delivering love and longing with every note.
Kymberli Wright – A fierce, passionate bandleader who channels the spirit of the golden era jazz greats.
Sky Covington – 11-time Detroit Music Award winner, poet, vocalist, and founder of The Preservation of Jazz—known for her iconic Billie Holiday tribute and unmatched devotion to jazz legacy.
