Best Holiday Historic Home Tour
Celebrate the season at Home for the Holidays at Ford House, where guests can take a self-guided tour of this iconic Michigan residence and relic of American automotive history. Other holiday activities include a 1-mile walk around the grounds to see the many light displays, a photo with Santa Claus, and complimentary hot chocolate.

Best Holiday Parade
Detroit has been hosting America’s Thanksgiving Parade, presented by Gardner White, since 1924. Since then, it has grown to become one of the largest and most popular parades in the country, complete with marching bands, helium balloons, and colorful, larger-than-life floats that make their way down historic Woodward Avenue each Thanksgiving morning.

Best Zoo Holiday Lights
The Detroit Zoo is filled with festive cheer during Wild Lights, as millions of LED bulbs illuminate trees, buildings, and some 500 displays. Follow a fairy as she soars through an enchanting, illuminated trail, explore the field of light as it sways and changes colors in rhythm to your favorite holiday songs, and make a wish on the wishing tree.

Best Holiday Historic Home Tour
Meadow Brook Hall was built between 1926 and 1929 in Rochester, Michigan, and is now a National Historic Landmark. This 110-room Tudor mansion was built by Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of auto pioneer John Dodge, and contains many of their family's original art and furnishings. During the holiday season, guests can take self-guided tours of the festively-decorated historic grounds.
