DETROIT, July 10, 2025 — Public voting opens today for Visit Detroit's 29th
annual Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Awards, celebrating the hospitality heroes who make Detroit shine.

The four-day voting period runs July 10-13, with the public choosing winners from 150 nominees across six categories:

- Volunteers
- Attractions and Casinos
- Transportation
- Restaurant
- Behind the Scenes
- Hotels

In addition to the six categories, the ROSE Awards will present the William F. McLaughlin Hospitality Award for Service Excellence to an organization that demonstrates outstanding accomplishments in customer service. This award celebrates best practices and innovation in hospitality, recognizing companies with a proven history of excellence in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

“We're excited to honor Metro Detroit’s hospitality workers who bring such passion to their everyday work. For nearly three decades, the ROSE Awards have celebrated individuals who transform ordinary moments into lasting memories for our visitors,” said Harriet Carter, Vice President of Customer Partner Services at Visit Detroit.

Winners will be announced and celebrated at the awards ceremony on August 21 at MotorCity Casino Hotel.

Vote now through July 13 at theroseawards.com for those who go above and beyond to make experiences in Metro Detroit memorable. Voting is free and open to the public.
