The season of Halloween has been fun so far: haunted houses, cider mills and hauntings. But now it’s time for candy, yes, candy — let’s trick-or-treat, Detroit! We have Halloween listings throughout metro Detroit, including trick-or-treat times, and volunteer opportunities in The D.

 

Trick-or-Treat and Halloween Times

All times listed are for trick-or-treating on Oct. 31, unless otherwise specified.

Auburn Hills: 6-7 p.m.

Birmingham: Trick-or-treat times are based on parental discretion and the discretion of local residents

Bloomfield Township: 6-7 p.m.

Brighton: 6-8 p.m.

Clarkston/Independence Township: 6-7 p.m.

Ferndale: Trick-or-treat times are based on parental discretion and the discretion of local residents

Grosse Pointe: 5:30-8 p.m.

Huntington Woods: 6-8 p.m.

Keego Harbor: 6-7:30 p.m.

Lake Orion: 6-8 p.m.

Madison Heights: Trick-or-treat times are based on parental discretion and the discretion of local residents

Milford: 6-8 p.m.

Northville: 6-8 p.m.

Oxford: 6-7:30 p.m.

Rochester: 7-8 p.m.

Rochester Hills: 6-8 p.m.

Royal Oak: Trick-or-treat times are based on parental discretion and discretion of local residents

South Lyon: 6-8 p.m.

Volunteer for Angels Night in Detroit

Angels’ Night in Detroit is a community volunteer program designed to keep Detroit streets safe from Oct. 29 to 31. Angels’ Night volunteers patrol the streets and keep general watch over neighborhood blocks to make Halloween a positive experience for kids and families.
