Check out the All-New Visitdetroit.com
Modified: January 19, 2022 | Story by Amanda WalgroveAmerica’s great comeback city has a brand-new website for tourists and travelers.
At the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau (DMCVB), we’re committed to helping Detroit visitors and meeting planners enjoy all that this great city has to offer. Now we’re making it even easier to find the best destinations and attractions with the all-new redesign of visitdetroit.com. It provides a more polished, intuitive and mobile-friendly experience than ever before.
“The new and improved visitdetroit.com offers the best possible online experience for leisure travelers and convention attendees,” said Larry Alexander, DMCVB president and CEO. “Enhanced functionality, planning tools and carefully-crafted itineraries will provide visitors with the resources they need to plan a visit to our region.”
Right on the front page, you can search for the perfect place to stay and check out some of Detroit’s most notable attractions and venues, including Sea Life Michigan Aquarium, Huntington Place and The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation.
Diving in further, you can browse hundreds of hot spots by category, such as “Entertainment,” “Nightlife“ and “Food & Drink.” You can also browse by six different locations, including Downtown Detroit, Dearborn/Wayne and Greater Novi.
Each unique destination page is even equipped with an interactive map, contact information, accepted payment methods, and nearby points of interest. Once you find your favorites, simply save and share them with the click of a button.
Visitdetroit.com isn’t just for leisure travelers, either. It remains a one-stop shop for business planners to organize meetings and conventions. By working with the DMCVB, you can find the best facilities, partner with local businesses and access promotional tools to help spread the word about your big event.
While you plan your Detroit visit, you can also stay up to date on the latest events and developments by following the Inside the D blog. For instance, did you know that the new QLine streetcar is expected to drive more than $3 billion in economic development? Now you do!
As Detroit continues to evolve, we do, too. Whether you’re looking to book a Detroit vacation, plan a business meeting, or find the best events happening right now, you can unlock the potential of this great city at visitdetroit.com.
