Bachelorette Party Weekend in Detroit: The Best Way to Celebrate Girls Weekend

When people think of bachelorette party destinations, many think of places like Nashville or Las Vegas. But, I'm here to tell you that a bachelorette party in Detroit is the best place for your last fling before the ring.

Detroit, Beyond Detroit

Start your girls weekend just outside Detroit in Ferndale. The Aerial Dragonfly Movement Studio will fully stretch and bend you to your limits. You can reserve private sessions for just your party. It will make you feel more graceful than ever.

After you have been pushed to your limits, head over to MGM Grand Casino and Hotel to check-in early. Settle in and head down to the spa with your girls for the full relaxation treatment. Manis, pedis, massage, facial? Take your pick! Or maybe you just want some time to have a drink, some food and lounge by the pool with your girlfriends? They have that too!

Once you’re relaxed and ready to go, get all dressed up for a night on the town. But don’t forget to grab some food. Head over to Greektown and grab dinner at Pegasus Taverna. Enjoy amazing authentic Greek food and drinks with an unbelievable atmosphere. Make sure you order the saganaki!

After your bellies are full and you’re in party mode, head over to The Old Shillelagh for some live Irish entertainment to kick the night off. Then, head across the street to dance all night at Delux.

Before you make your way back to the hotel, make sure you stop off at Wahlburgers or Five Guys in Greektown for some late night food! Who knows… maybe you’ll meet a celebrity?!

If you manage to wake up early enough to make brunch the next morning, head over to Townhouse. You and your besties can enjoy some perfect hangover food and Bloody Mary’s before your walk over to the pedal pub.

Make sure the bachelorette party stocked the Michigan Pedaler pedal pub full of your favorite afternoon drinks. As you cruise around Detroit, sweating out the drinks from the night before and jamming out to your favorite tunes, you’ll make pit stops to some of Detroit’s best bars throughout downtown. Then, walk over to Comerica Park to catch a ball game.

Make sure you stay for the full game, even if you’re not a big baseball fan. The weekend games end with an eye-catching fireworks display.

An alternate option to not-so-pleasant weather: Fowling. If you aren’t from Detroit, both these things might sound totally foreign so let me explain. Fowling = football + bowling. There is an awesome warehouse in Hamtramck. Take your shot (literally) at throwing a football at some pins. See how well you do against the opposing team.

The next morning, before you head back to your home to rehab after a long, exciting, and fun-filled weekend, enjoy some breakfast food at Hudson Café. The monster pancakes are to die for.

Between bars, pedal pubs, fitness, relaxation, and entertainment, Detroit is most definitely the place to be for a bachelorette party!
