Burnley FC is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Visit Detroit, making them the Official US Destination Partner of the Clarets.
The global partnership will also see Visit Detroit become the Clarets’ Official Front of Shirt Partner at The Soccer Tournament (TST) in Cary, North Carolina, as well as becoming the exclusive Travel Wear Partner for the Club as part of the multi-year agreement.
Detroit often hailed as the "Motor City," and Burnley, known for its rich fabric industry heritage, share a common thread in their industrious backgrounds. Both Burnley and Detroit have played pivotal roles in shaping society and culture, leaving indelible marks on the world we now live in. This collaboration will celebrate the shared history and cultural heritage between the vibrant city of Detroit and the historic town of Burnley and Burnley FC. Detroit and Burnley always ‘Show up’ when called upon, and this partnership will embody this.
Detroit's influence on the world is undeniable, with its pivotal role in both the music and automotive industries. From the birth of Motown to the revolutionization of transportation through the Ford Model T, the city has left an indelible mark on global culture. Similarly, Burnley FC, as one of the founding members of the English Football League, has played a significant role in shaping the landscape of professional football, not only in England but worldwide. As both entities move into a new chapter of their history, the partnership will encompass a series of collaborative initiatives, including cultural exchanges, joint events, and digital campaigns aimed at highlighting the shared heritage, values, and futures of two great organisations.

The collaboration will celebrate new eras for both parties and highlight the relentless passion of Clarets and Detroiters alike while demonstrating the resilience of both in their continued commitment to excellence.
The Clarets play a fast-paced, creative style of football that reflects the evolving nature of Burnley Football Club and the iconic culture of the Detroit region.
