Old St. Mary’s Church


The third-oldest Roman Catholic church in Detroit and the first German church. The church was constructed in 1884 in Pisan Romanesque style by Peter Dederichs, a native architect.


  • Vigil mass: Sat. 5:30 p.m. Sunday masses: 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. (Latin) and noon. Daily mass: Mon.-Sat. 12:15 p.m.
