The fitness communities in Detroit are open to new faces. They are a great way to get a true feel for the Motor City. You can even tour the city while running, walking, biking, kayaking, or paddleboarding.

WeRun313 is Detroit’s premier running club. They have over 2,300 members and encourage connection through running. You can join their Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday runs for free.

Downtown Runners and Walkers

Every Tuesday at 6 pm, this group meets at different Detroit locations for a 4 to 6-mile walk or run. It’s open to all ability levels. Afterward, they get together for dinner, drinks, and fun conversations.
