The fitness communities in Detroit are open to new faces. They are a great way to get a true feel for the Motor City. You can even tour the city while running, walking, biking, kayaking, or paddleboarding.
Or maybe you’d like to see Detroit’s spin on traditional yoga. Several studios offer unique yoga experiences like Soulful Trap n’ Flow yoga.

Downtown Runners and Walkers
Every Tuesday at 6 pm, this group meets at different Detroit locations for a 4 to 6-mile walk or run. It’s open to all ability levels. Afterward, they get together for dinner, drinks, and fun conversations.
