On March 25, the Legoland Discovery Center Michigan opened its doors at the Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills. It is the only Legoland Discovery Center in the state, but there are many other reasons why you and/or your kids need to check it out.
1. Rides and Attractions
Starting at $23.50 (kids under three are free), Legoland Discovery Center includes a Lego Factory Tour, Lego 4D Cinema, Kingdom Quest Laser Ride, Miniland, Lego Racers: Build & Test, Merlin’s Apprentice Ride, Lego City: Play Zone, Lego Model Builder Academy, Lego Duplo Farm, Earthquake Tables and Lego Friends – Olivia’s House.
Including more than 900 Lego sets and products, the Legoland Discovery Center Shop is open seven days a week, and you do not need to have a ticket to the attraction to visit the shop.
3. Birthday Parties
4. Adult-Only Nights
If you don’t have little ones or have kids but are fans of Lego and want a night out with others who share your passion, you can visit Legoland the last Thursday of every month between 7 and 9 p.m. for Adult Night. Adults over 18 will be admitted for $23.50, or if they are annual pass holders, they will get in for free.
5. Annual Passes
Starting at $70 a person, you can purchase one-year pass of unlimited Lego play. The pass also guarantees 10 percent off retail, 20 percent off café purchases and 10 percent off birthday parties.
