The Explore Detroit Pass from Visit Detroit will help you see the city and have a ton of fun while saving money, and who doesn’t like to save some money?

With nearly two dozen partners, the pass has different discounts and offers a ton of different opportunities for anyone looking to have fun in metro Detroit.

For the history lover

Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

One of the premiere museums in metro Detroit and located in the heart of Midtown, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History is committed to preserving African American culture.

There are dozens of permanent and visiting exhibits with hundreds of programs for you to learn about the history of African Americans.

Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum

Go back in time and see the birthplace of the Ford Model T, which happened at the Piquette Plant. It was built in 1904 and in 2000, a group started working to preserve the plant.

Inside, you can get a guided tour and see what the plant was like, and get up close to some seriously old cars.

The Henry Ford

The Henry Ford is Michigan’s premier multivenue cultural destination with three must-see attractions: Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, Greenfield Village and the Ford Rouge Factory Tour. Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is a 9-acre museum showcasing American Innovation in mobility, design, agriculture, and social transformation. Greenfield Village is an 80-acre outdoor living history museum with historic districts, larger-than-life artifacts, and interactive experiences. During the Ford Rouge Factory Tour, visitors experience the legendary Ford factory making America’s most iconic truck, the Ford F-150.

Pewabic Pottery

A nonprofit located on Detroit’s East Side, Pewabic Pottery was established in 1903 and is one of the oldest continually operating potteries in the country.

It’s still an active pottery with a tile studio, ceramic arts education center and welcomes people from around the world.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan

About 40 minutes north of Detroit, you’ll find Great Lakes Crossing Outlets and inside is the LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Peppa Pig World of Play and Sea Life Michigan Aquarium.

Sea Life Michigan Aquarium

Check out the thousands of water creatures from over 250 species at Sea Life Michigan Aquarium, where you can get up close to sharks, rays, sea turtles and more.

Detroit Yoga Lab

The HandleBar Detroit

After a yoga session, hop on The HandleBar Detroit and explore the city with a drink in your hand on a pedal pub.

The pedal pubs hold 16 people and are electric-assisted, meaning you won’t have to do all the work yourself.

Antique Touring Company
