For the best brunch in Detroit, here are seven (of many!) restaurants in and out of Detroit not only open on Mother’s Day but also highly recommended by locals:
Best Brunch in Detroit:

The Detroit Princess, a beautiful, five-story riverboat, is setting sail on Mother’s Day at noon and 7 p.m. for three different parties: Mother’s Day Motown Lunch, Mother’s Day Motown Dinner and Mother’s Day Sunset Cruise. Not only will moms enjoy a “bountiful” buffet and cash bar (if you book lunch or dinner) or a variety of snacks and cash bar (if you book the evening cruise), but they will also have the opportunity to enjoy musical entertainment all while experiencing the views of both Detroit and Windsor.
Cost: Cost varies depending on cruise selection. Visit the Public Cruise Schedule for cruise-specific information.
