It is the largest fully-enclosed outlet mall in Michigan, and what that means for you is that you’ll find retail, entertainment, and dining options for the whole family.
Choose Your Own Adventure
One of the things that you will enjoy the most about a visit to Great Lakes Crossing is that you can make it as big or as little of an excursion as you want to. Are you short on time? You can stroll the mall and window shop. Then stop with the kids for a treat at M Street Bakery, making your way to the food court for an afternoon of affordable fun. Enjoy a ride on the carousel for $4 and grab some of Garret’s gourmet popcorn to snack on while watching the kids play on the Michigan-themed playland.
Were you looking to make more of a trip out of your visit? You can spend an entire day at Great Lakes Crossing easily. With the bundle and save option, you can bundle and save on some incredible attractions, that include Peppa Pig World of Play, Sea Life Aquarium, and Legoland Discovery Center. What’s great about the bundle and save option is you can choose to spend the whole day visiting the three attractions. Or you can book a stay and spread your visits out because of the option to visit Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland Discovery Center anytime on the same day or within 30 days of your ticket purchase.
Building Memories at Legoland Discovery Center
Have you ever been on a Lego ride? Here you will be able to! The entire family can enjoy a short film in the 4D cinema, build together at the creative workshop, and discover familiar landmarks at the Lego Miniland of Detroit. You can build your own race car out of Legos and send it down the ramp, spend time at the interactive build tables, play at the Duplo Farm designed for your younger engineers, and explore Lego Friends Heartlake City. There is an indoor children’s play structure for your children to expend their energy, or if you need to fuel up, there is a small cafe and eating area. What’s great about Legoland Discovery Center is that there is something for various ages, and there are attractions to bring the whole family together to create, build, and imagine. Please keep in mind that adults must be accompanied by a child to enter.
Play the Day Away at Peppa Pig World of Play
Do you have a Peppa Pig lover in your house? Then a visit to Peppa Pig World of Play is a must-do! Even if you have never watched an episode of the British preschool animated television series, your preschool-aged children will love this attraction. With your admission, you will have the opportunity to spend two hours exploring the 14 attractions at Peppa Pig World of Play. Explore the underground world of the Rabbit’s burrow, jump in muddy puddles, ride trikes at Granddad Dog’s Garage, visit the theatre for scenes from the show, spend time making sandwiches in Peppa Pig’s kitchen, and so much more. There is a cafe and eating area to enjoy a bite and take a break before continuing to play.
Dive into an Underwater Adventure at Sea Life Michigan
Ready to take your family on an underwater adventure without getting wet? Then a visit to the SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium is the place for you. SEA LIFE is Michigan’s largest aquarium and home to Michigan’s only underwater ocean tunnel. Get up close and personal at the interactive touch pool, create your own tropical fish at the doodle reef, explore a shipwreck, and explore so much more. What’s great about this attraction is the learning opportunities spread throughout the aquarium but presented in a way that children truly learn and discover- through play! Make sure to save some energy for the very end, where children can climb and play on the indoor play structure.
