Evita’s Detroit Itinerary

When Evita Robinson, Founder of Nomadness Travel Tribe and Audacity Fest, said yes, to coming to Detroit to partake in a spotlight showcasing our city, we were over the moon with excitement. Aside from pandemic restrictions, the most challenging part of preparing her three-day visit was narrowing down the places, spaces and people to share with her! Check out her itinerary and see all of the hot sports she visited and the people she connected with.

Friday-

Landed at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), an international, top-ranked airport featuring one of Delta’s largest hubs in the country. Check out DTW’s efforts to keep the airport, travelers and staff safe during the pandemic.

Checked into the Element Hotel at the Metropolitan. In the center of downtown, this hotel is not only in a prime location, it’s just a few feet away from great retail, restaurants and cultural experiences. The Element offers luxury accommodations without the luxury cost.

Dinner at Central Kitchen in the Campus Martius area of downtown. A Black-owned restaurant putting a Detroit spin on traditional American faire. Delicious food and tasty cocktails, were definitely a highlight of the night.

Saturday-

Photoshoot at some of the hottest spots in downtown Detroit. The art scene is so inspiring and expansive that there are  over 1,000 murals in Detroit alone. Not to mention, she had to stop by two of Detroit’s premier cultural institutions, the Motown Museum and the Charles H. Wright Museum.

Shopping downtown is saturated with a variety of options. Evita couldn’t leave these locations without making a purchase!
