Overview
The English, Creative Writing and Film Department at Oakland University proudly presents the annual OUFILM Showcase, a dynamic celebration of student creativity and cinematic storytelling. Featuring a diverse lineup of short films created during the 2025–2026 academic year, the event highlights the talent and vision of Oakland University’s emerging filmmakers.
The showcase will include a variety of genres, from narrative and documentary to experimental works, all produced by current students. Selected films will compete for top honors in their categories, with awards recognizing outstanding achievement in filmmaking.
The OUFILM Showcase offers attendees a unique opportunity to experience original student work on the big screen, support local artists, and engage with the university’s creative community. All selected filmmakers will receive official recognition, and award winners will be honored during the event.
This event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend and support the next generation of storytellers.
