Now he’s in a race against time to fix the present, escape the past, and send himself... back to the future. When Back to the Future hits 88mph, it’ll change musical theatre history forever.
October 30th-November 1st: Mozart & Brahms
This program explores a line of development of Viennese musical style: from Mozart’s overture to one of his most beloved comic operas, to Brahms’s monumental First Piano Concerto played here by Kirill Gerstein, to an early work by Schoenberg full of lush harmonies and indebted to Brahms’s expressive Romanticism. Principal Guest Conductor Tabita Berglund leads the orchestra.
October 31st: The Case of the Corktown Corpse - A Detroit Murder Mystery Tour
The interactive murder mystery tour begins outside the majestic, Michigan Central Station. Here, amidst the whispers of grand ambition, lies our victim: Arthur Penderghast, a renowned historian and obsessive collector of local lore. Penderghast was found sprawled on the grass in front of Michigan Central Station, a cryptic map clutched in his lifeless hand, and a single, crimson stain blooming on his perfectly tailored tweed jacket. You, dear participants, are the detectives.
October 31st: Playboi Carti “Antagonist Tour”
