The Guardian Building
When you step inside of the three story, vaulted lobby in the Guardian Building you'll be immediately hypnotized by the colorful custom tiles from Mary Chase Stratton's Pewabic Pottery of Detroit and the historic Rockwood Pottery Company. There you will find James Oliver Coffee Co. where the team continues the legacy of roasting with the highest standards.
The Fisher Building
With ornate vaulted ceilings and sweeping corridors adorned in over 40 types of marble, it's easy to see why the Fisher Building has earned the title of Detroit's "largest art object"! One of architect Albert Kahn's greatest masterpieces, it was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989. In 2025, the architectural masterpiece houses the iconic Fisher Theatre and an array of local businesses including Stella Good Coffee. The casual coffee shop offers espresso, pour-overs, and baked goods.
Michigan Central
After closing in 1988, the next chapter for Michigan Central has been years in the making with an extensive six-year restoration led by Ford Motor Company that began in 2018. The revitalized columns and Guastavino tiled ceiling welcomes back visitors with pure nostalgia. Reminisce about the train stations heyday with a warm house-made donut and cup of your favorite coffee drink from the baristas at Yellow Light.
