The historic area is also one of the city’s most energetic, with plenty of creative options for date night. Better yet? It’s completely walkable.

Does your sweetheart have a sweet tooth? Then make a beeline to Astoria Pastry Shop. This bakery is a true Greektown icon that’s been serving up delicious pastries since the Teftis family opened it back in 1971.

Choose from over 100 pastry varieties, including Greek-style options like sweet, honey-drenched baklava, or savory, flaky spanakopita. You also can’t go wrong with a simple box of chocolates.
