DLECTRICITY is back and bigger than before!

DLECTRICITY IS BACK!!

This two-day outdoor nighttime arts and technology festival was originally inspired by Detroit’s very own Electric Park. From 1906 until 1928, Electric Park served as a major attraction, starting off as a trolley park and later expanding into a dazzling amusement park with the development of electrification.

This year’s event is brought to you by Midtown Detroit, Inc. (MDI) and will take place from September 24-25th. Make your way to Midtown, Detroit’s Cultural Center and DTE’s Beacon Park, to take in the 40+ art installations and truly immerse yourself into the bright and artistic side of technology.

These cutting-edge installations include a variety of expressions such as giant illuminated sculptures, video projections on to iconic architectural gems, life size live stream screens, and more. DLECTRICITY is free to the public and taking all the important steps to providing a healthy and safe experience for all attendees.

If you want to be part of the art, it’s not to late to sign up for the signature Saturday night ‘Light Bike Parade’ and take your illuminated bike on a 3-mile ride from Midtown to Beacon Park. Make sure to check out all the featured events here for more information because this event will be lit!
