Parking
There are many options for parking at Comerica Park. Oftentimes when traveling with young children convenience can trump a bit of extra cost. Family Fun with Chevy Sunday Kids Day
While any day at the ballpark is a day well spent visiting on a Chevy Sunday, Kids Day is absolutely the way to go if you are experiencing a Tigers game with young children. While the ballpark is extremely family-friendly, no matter what day your ball game happens to fall on if you are looking to get the most out of the experience, book your tickets for a Sunday game.
What does a Sunday at Comerica Park look like? Weather permitting, children ages 4-14 are able to run the bases after all Sunday home games throughout the Tigers season. If your children would like to participate, you will line up under the scoreboard in leftfield at the end of the game. On Sunday home games, and when available, two Tigers players will sign autographs for your children up to the age of 14 at section 119.
Face painters have a table at the Comerica Entry and Rocket Entry on Kids Day, and you’ll be marveled by a stilt walker and magician who move throughout the concourse. On Kids Day, your children 14 and under will also get free rides on the Fly Ball Ferris Wheel located at section 131 near the Brushfire Grill.
Kids Club
If you are looking to save money on getting your child some exclusive Tigers gear, then you will want to sign up for the Tigers Kids Club. Members of the Kids Club receive Tigers gear, invitations to exclusive Kids Club events, many discounts, and more! You can sign up online, by calling 313-471-2109, or you can visit the Kids Club kiosk at Comerica Park located at Section 119 (game ticket required). Memberships do sell out and typically go on sale late in the previous year for the next season. You can sign up for the waitlist so you don’t miss the opportunity.
Comerica Bank Big Cat Court
Here is where you will find tons of kid-friendly food options ranging from pizza, burgers and fries, ice cream, and so much more. The carousel is located at the Big Cat Court; an insider tip it to make sure you get your ticket for the carousel which is $2 at the entry of the Big Cat Court before joining the line. From the court, you will also be able to access the D Shop, where you can find just about any souvenir and all sorts of different apparel to bring home as a token for your ball game.
