The Mall at Partridge Creek
If you’re looking for a one stop shop, you must check out The Mall at Partridge Creek. A fully outdoor mall with dozens of shops, restaurants, and attractions, it’s one of the best places to spend a day with friends. Check out their list of special events online, find an outdoor concert to enjoy, or just shop the day away!
Visit a Metropark
There are two Metroparks in Macomb County—Stoney Creek and Lake Saint Clair—which are perfect for an afternoon of fun with friends. Swim, play volleyball, hike, or even have a picnic at one of Macomb’s pristine parks. Visit their websites for a full list of activities that you can do with friends.
CJ Barrymore’s
Gear up for a day of amusement at CJ Barrymore’s! With both indoor and outdoor attractions, CJ Barrymore’s is perfect, rain or shine! Grab your friends and spend time playing arcade games, bumper cars, bowling, laser tag, riding roller coasters, speeding around in go karts, and more!
Jimmy John’s Field
Want a nice way to spend a warm summer day? Visit Jimmy John’s Field! Jimmy John’s Field offers independent professional baseball games at a relatively inexpensive cost throughout the spring and summer. You can even book group outings for larger parties! This is the perfect option for groups of friends, or even a fun one-on-one night out!

Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill
Catch your favorite band at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill! This venue offers both covered and lawn seating and is one of the best ways to spend a summer evening. Grab a blanket, or some lawn chairs, and enjoy the night dancing and singing with friends.
Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill
Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mills is a great place for every age of Gen Z! Over 21? Enjoy the tasting room at Blake’s and find which of their homemade ciders is your favorite. Blake’s also features many activities for all ages including fruit picking, cider, donuts, restaurants, and more! Additionally, keep an eye out for special events such as the Lavender Festival, Sunflower Festival, and Cider Dayze.
Selfridge Military Museum
From April until October, visitors can learn an abundance of information regarding Michigan’s air history. At the Selfridge Air Museum, you can learn more about Selfridge military base, their planes, and much more. Additionally, you can check out their calendar for a list of special events at the museum you can attend. This is a great activity for families, friends, and anyone who is interested in learning a little more on Michigan’s military history!
Shelby Township Library
The Shelby Township library offers many events for teens to participate including their Teen Advisory Board and a book club! If you love reading, this is a great way to connect with other Gen Z teens who love book as much as you.

Whether you’re back home from a weekend during the school year or looking for a fun way to start the weekend after a long work week, here are some fun activities in Macomb County for the 21 + members of Gen Z!
Coyote Joes
Get your cowboy (or gal!) on at Coyote Joes in Shelby Township! Open Thursday through Saturday, Coyote Joe’s is a country music nightclub that features drinks, a mechanical bull, and an outdoor patio.
Club 54
Regarded as one of the best dance bars in town, Club 54 is in Sterling Heights and open to anyone 21 and over. They also offer reservations for private parties! With food, drinks, and DJs a night spend at Club 54 is bound to be fun!
Locker Room Saloon
Found in Utica, the Locker Room Saloon offers a fun, loud, entertaining environment for friends to hang out. Offering trivia, and other fun group events, this is the perfect place to check out if you’re looking for a social evening!
Waldenburg Bar
