Light Up the City: An ambitious effort is underway to illuminate buildings not only in Detroit but also across Michigan and major cities nationwide in vibrant orange and blue hues or adorned with the iconic number 24, paying tribute to Miggy's legacy.
SANA Detroit x Tigers Collab: An exclusive in-park merchandise drop in collaboration with the local streetwear company, SANA, will take place each day of the celebration weekend. You can also find SANA's activation at Comerica Park, Section 101, where the unique merchandise will be available.
Fan Voicemail/Text Line: Fans can join in by calling or texting "miggy24" to 313-471-2424 to leave heartfelt thank-you and congratulations messages for Miggy. The best of these messages will be selected for use in social media and broadcast content throughout Miggy Celebration Weekend.
El Rey | Miggy's Favorites: A special pop-up restaurant experience, located at 44 Columbia Street, just across from the ballpark, will immerse visitors in Miggy's Venezuelan heritage. Featuring cuisine from Miguel's favorite Venezuelan restaurant in Detroit, El Rey de las Arepas, this custom-designed pop-up is a culinary tribute to the man of the hour.
Miggy 3,000 Beer: In a partnership between the Tigers, Miguel Cabrera, and Atwater Brewery, a specially branded "Miggy 3,000" beer has been crafted and will be available for purchase at Comerica Park. It's a unique way to toast to Miggy's historic achievements.

The festivities will kick off with the Friday Night Party in the Park on Comerica Landing, featuring vibrant Venezuelan music, Latin culinary delights, and opportunities for fans to capture memories with "iGracias Miggy!" photos, which will be available in various parts of the ballpark. As a special gate giveaway item, fans can look forward to a commemorative comic book cover celebrating Miggy's illustrious career. The day will also include a pre-game recognition of Miguel Cabrera's significant community impact, followed by a spectacular post-game Miggy-themed drone show and fireworks display.
Saturday, September 30 (1:10 PM game time)
Saturday's spotlight will be squarely on "The Player" – paying homage to Miguel Cabrera's remarkable on-field achievements and career milestones. The festivities will commence with a pre-game ceremony dedicated to celebrating Miggy's 21-year career, featuring guest speakers, heartfelt gifts from the organization and fellow players, and tribute videos displayed on the scoreboard. To commemorate this special occasion, the first 15,000 fans through the gates will receive a unique "print all over t-shirt" adorned with the iGracias Miggy! logo, providing a cherished keepsake of this memorable day. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 12:45 PM to fully partake in this tribute to Miggy's illustrious career.
Sunday, October 1 (3:10 PM game time)
On this special day, Miggy's final game, the theme is "The Curtain Call." A sell-out crowd will bear witness to the conclusion of an extraordinary career. As the grand finale, the Tigers have prepared an exclusive in-seat gate giveaways and an exciting top-secret activation that you have to be there to experience, adding an element of surprise and exhilaration to this unforgettable moment.
