Named for its original location, Michigan & Trumbull is currently moving to a new location but serves up New York-style and Detroit-style pizza. Try the Packard Pepperoni or the Cadieux e Pepe white pizza.

Francesca’s is serving up Napoletana-style pizza south of Detroit with a raised, slightly charred crust that is still chewy. They even imported their hot brick oven from Italy! You can get some of the best brick-oven pizza at Pizza e Vino, which translates to pizza and wine. They were the first restaurant to be certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana in Naples, Italy, the True Neoapolitan Pizza Association. They have more than a dozen different red and white pizzas to go with a large wine list.
Bigalora in Plymouth
“At Bigalora, we are all about the pizza!” is the first thing you’ll read on the Bigalora website. Their pizzas are made with sourdough, and they have different red pizzas with house-made tomato sauce and white pizzas with garlic oil instead of tomato sauce. You can even get a dessert Nutella pizza.
Belle Isle Pizza
Just a few blocks away from Belle Isle in Detroit’s West Village, Belle Isle Pizza offers stone-fired artisanal pizzas. You can get hand-tossed round or Detroit deep dish with signature pizzas, rotating specials or a build-your-own pizza.
