Plymouth Coffee Bean
The best way to start your day off is with a fresh coffee from Plymouth Coffee Bean. It’s the longest-running independent coffee shop in the state and it’s located in an old house. On top of their drinks, they have fresh crepes, tea and other pastries.
Omelette and Waffle Cafe
You’ll get a filling, delicious breakfast at the Omelette and Waffle Cafe. As the name implies, they’re known for omelettes with more than a dozen varieties, or you can build your own. They also have French toast, salads, sandwiches and soup.
Arbor Brewing Co.
Arbor Brewing Co. serves up more than a dozen craft beers ranging from IPAs and pilsners to their classic blonde ale and more. You can pick up a six-pack to go, and they also have a full food menu with apps, salads, sandwiches, burgers and more.
The Ebenezer
A speakeasy in Downtown Plymouth hidden in a former bank, The Ebenezer is named for the first president of the bank. The old bank’s vault is still the bar’s private tasting room. The bar has a list of classic cocktails like an old fashioned, but it also has a list of a dozen specialty cocktails.
Barrio Cocina Y Tequileria
Brario serves up delicious, fresh Mexican food with a variety of tacos, other plates, soupls, sides and dessert. The restaurant also has different margaritas, beer and dozens of tequilas you can try.
Sean O’Callaghan’s
You’ll feel like you’re transported to Ireland at Sean O’Callaghan’s, which has a full food menu to go with a list of Irish beers, Irish whiskeys and other drinks. They have traditional Irish dishes like corned beef & cabbage, bangers & mash or shepherd’s pie.
The bar also has live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. if you’re looking to catch some tunes.
Compari’s on the Park
Compari’s on the Park is a family-owned Italian restaurant famous for its brick-oven pizza. You can also get a ton of different Italian food here like arancini for an appetizer, many different pashta dishes, plus nearly a dozen different desserts.
Pizza E Vino
Pizza E Vino is the first restaurant in Michigan to be certified by the Associazione Verace PIzza Napoletana of Naples, Italy. They have fresh, authentic Neopolitan-style pizza plus sides and dessert. The restaurant also has a large wine list to accompany your pizza.

See a Film at The Penn Theatre
The historic Penn Theatre opened in 1941 and is a single-screen theatre that shows second-run movies, classic films, independent films and more. They show different films throughout the week, with an updated list on their website.
Check Out a Park
Plymouth has more than a dozen different parks and playgrounds throughout the city. The city’s website has a list of amenities at each park, but many have trails, fountains, playgrounds, basketball courts, grills and more.
Shop Local
Downtown Plymouth is filled with cute local shops where you can get clothing, gifts, Michigan items and more. Genuine Toy Co. has great toys for kids of all ages. Bella Mia, Gigi’s Mode

Plymouth Festivals
Plymouth Ice Festival
The Plymouth Ice Festival is one of the top winter events in all of metro Detroit. It takes place the first weekend of February and includes ice carving displays, ice festival bingo, a petting zoo, ice bar and more.
Music in the Air Concert Series
Every Friday from May through September, you can catch live music at Kellogg Park in the center of Plymouth.
Art in the Park
Art in the Park has been going on for more than four decades. It takes place in July and features hundreds of artists with paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry and much more.
Plymouth Fall Festival
The weekend after Labor Day is the Plymouth Fall Festival. To celebrate the start of fall, there is a car show, bingo, craft show, BBQ, live music and a carnival.
