7OH2 Hospitality Announced as Operating Partner of Gilly’s
Second Experience-driven Dining Concept Set to Open in Downtown Detroit
October 17, 2023 [DETROIT]– ROCK, the Gilbert family office, and Bedrock today announced a partnership with 7OH2 Hospitality and its founder Josh Lang as the co-creator and operator of two new food and beverage destinations in downtown Detroit.
7OH2 Hospitality will operate Gilly’s Clubhouse and Rooftop, a multi-faceted dining and elevated sports and entertainment venue, that celebrates the life, spirit and vision of Nick Gilbert who developed the initial concept and design for the project. The group will also unveil a second venue in early 2024, introducing Detroit to a first-of-its-kind sensory-driven food and dining experience.
Both Gilly’s Clubhouse and Rooftop and the yet to-be-announced venue will be housed in a historic storefront in the Kay Baum Building on Woodward Avenue, a short walk from downtown Detroit’s sports venues, retail, and transit options.
“Some of the most memorable moments we have in life are centered around food, drinks, sports and entertainment,” said Josh Lang, 7OH2 Hospitality founder. “I am especially grateful to have the opportunity to create an elevated experience for the city of Detroit, and for all who visit, in honor of Nick Gilbert. That is what excites me the most about these projects.”
Slated to open in late Spring 2024, Bedrock, in conjunction with 7OH2 Hospitality, will oversee development and construction of both concepts.
