American Bocce Company recently opened up registration for the Country’s preemptive competition and celebration of sport. The Open is a display of two simultaneous tournaments; a Gold Tournament featuring the most decorated and talented players from the U.S. and Canada, and a Silver Division designed for more casual and social players. Collectively, the two events will consist of over 250 players from dozens of states, competing for cash, prizes, and medals.
Over the past twenty years, Palazzo di Bocce has asserted itself as one of the finest bocce ball facilities in the World, with a long tradition of hosting top-tier tournaments and competition. In recent years, the American Bocce Company has ascended as the major player in pushing the sport forward, through fostering new communities, player development, and tournament organization. The copacetic partnership between the two brands has brought a momentous fervor to the sport, and the ABC Open represents just that.
As the tournament has grown, so has its support. With increased sponsorship from Palazzo owner Tony Battaglia, as well as the Oakland County Commissioner's Office, the 3rd Annual ABC Open promises to continue to raise the bar for National Bocce Competition. For example, this year will feature two days of live streaming and broadcasting from upstart Youtube Channel, Bocce Broadcast Network (BBN) as well as a new-and-improved Skills Challenge. Additionally, the prize pool has been doubled, with over $15,000 in cash being paid out, and plenty of other prizes available.
