Announcing the Second Annual Yellow Rose Charity Event 100% Created for Women by Women
The Yellow Rose Charity Event for Women, a fundraising event for the renowned Sanctum House, a sanctuary for survivors of human trafficking, has moved to a larger venue in Downtown Detroit with a bigger fundraising goal and a well-curated silent auction.
On May 11, 2023—Yellow Rose Charity moves to a larger venue, with more food, more fun, more music…and a bigger fundraising goal for the renowned SANCTUM HOUSE, a sanctuary for survivors of human trafficking–a home where women can reimagine their lives with newly taught life skills, education, career training and job placement.
Detroit, Michigan: Last year, the YELLOW ROSE CHARITY EVENT FOR WOMEN launched its first ever charity to a sold-out event. It was so successful, that this year’s event is expanding to Niki’s Nightlife, a much larger and more popular venue in Downtown Detroit. Be inspired by a night to remember filled with laughter and conversation, dinner and dancing and a well-curated Silent Auction you don’t want to miss. When the fun begins, so does the networking. Some of the most interesting and charitable women in Southeastern Michigan will be in attendance: Professionals, community leaders and up-and-comers who wish to mingle and make the world a better place.

THE SANCTUM HOUSE – This growing and highly regarded organization guides young survivors of human trafficking to overcome not only the trauma of their experiences, but to embrace positive change. “This is a crisis that urgently needs our attention”, says founding co-chair Cathy Lombardo, “We are proud to assist these young women as they heal, regain their self-respect and create lives of endless possibility.”
