Visit Detroit is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 30th annual Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Awards, celebrating three decades of honoring outstanding hospitality professionals across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. Nominations will be accepted through May 31, 2026.

The ROSE Awards honor individuals and organizations that consistently provide outstanding service and create memorable visitor experiences across the Detroit area.

The public is encouraged to submit nominations by sharing outstanding service experiences. To qualify, the business, organization, and individual service personnel must be current members of Visit Detroit. To verify eligibility and view membership details, please visit theroseawards.com.

Nominations are open in the following categories:

- Attractions and Casinos
- Behind the Scenes
- Hotels
- Restaurants
- Transportation
- Volunteers

In addition, the prestigious William F. McLaughlin Hospitality Award for Service Excellence will be presented to a hospitality organization that has been a Visit Detroit member for at least 5 years and demonstrates an outstanding commitment to customer service, innovation, and best practices in hospitality. This award celebrates an organization with a proven record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.

“As we celebrate 30 years of the ROSE Awards, we are reminded that hospitality is at the heart of metro Detroit’s story,” said Harriet Carter, Senior Vice President of Services, Partnerships, and Events at Visit Detroit. “These awards are more than recognition—they reflect the pride, passion, and people who make every visitor feel welcomed. The ROSE Awards shine a light on the individuals and businesses who truly define service excellence in our region.”

Winners will be honored at the ROSE Awards ceremony on August 20, 2026, at MotorCity Casino’s Sound Board.

To nominate and learn more, visit theroseawards.com before the May 31 deadline.
