DETROIT (July 17, 2023) –Tickets are officially on sale for the 2023 Detroit Auto Show, including Technology Days (Sept. 13 - 14), Charity Preview (Sept. 15) and the Public Show (Sept. 16 - 24) at naias.com. Featuring a display of “electrifying” and bold new products and activations, the show will be held at Huntington Place in Detroit.
Registration for online media will open on Monday, July 24. Announcement of Charity Preview entertainment is coming soon.
“With a new indoor EV track and more street course ride-and-drives, show visitors will have an opportunity to experience and learn about the EV movement firsthand, both behind the wheel and as passengers,” said Detroit Auto Show Chairman Thad Szott. “And for media and industry gathered, the show’s first-ever Mobility Global Forum will be a compelling focal point for new mobility discussion.”
Something new for show attendees this year is an indoor EV experience where visitors can be immersed in a wide range of electric vehicles. Sitting alongside a professional driver, visitors will be taken through a serpentine track which will include an acceleration lane stretching more than 300 feet.
“The Detroit Auto Show is the most innovative mobility event in the world,” said Visit Detroit President and CEO, Claude Molinari. “Detroit looks forward to welcoming residents and visitors for an interactive event that debuts new vehicles and technology and harmoniously displays the present and future of mobility.”
Show-goers can also attend the Mobility Global Forum, held concurrently with Media and Technology days, where discussions will be held regarding trends and issues within today’s growing and changing automotive industry, and C-level keynotes will be given from the world’s leading OEM’s.
