Tourist Hot Spot Detroit Ranked in Top 15 in Dollar Hand’s Census Data Report
Detroit has been named one of the best places to retire in America, thanks to its vibrant cultural scene and plenty of activities for retirees to enjoy.
CALIFORNIA, USA (August 4, 2022) – Detroit in Michigan has been named the 12th Best Place To Retire in America, according to a Census Data Report carried out by consumer finance startup, DollarHand.com.
Alongside this, the delightful city was applauded for its tourist charm and appeal. Detroit’s cultural scene is in its prime with theaters, music, restaurants, art installations, architectural gems and distinctive museums to name a few. Visitors can also explore the promenade of entertainment and outdoor recreation along the Detroit River at the Riverwalk.
As the birthplace of the American automobile industry, explorers have the opportunity to tour around the Henry Ford Experience Museum of American Innovation or walk around the Ford Rouge Factory Tour. With so much to do and see, it is no surprise that Detroit has become a popular travel destination from visitors across the world.
“Detroit is proud to welcome millions of visitors every year,” said Chris Moyer, communications director for Visit Detroit. “It is wonderful to see that when people come to the city, they fall in love with the community and want to make it their home.”
The data was compiled and analyzed by Dollar Hand, an independent consumer finance intermediary, which uses over 8,000 data points in a single loan application to connect borrowers with the best loan or source of finance for them.
Justine Gray, co-founder of Dollar Hand, commented: “We are delighted to see Detroit in Michigan not only ranked as the twelfth best place to retire in America, but also as a superb place to visit at any time of the year. Data is at the very heart of our business and all the variables point towards a fantastic stay, with superb facilities, a plethora of activities to get involved in and promising safety levels.”
“On the surface, people may be impressed by places in California or Florida but when you look at the data and the activities available, you may be surprised by what visiting cities in the Mid-West have to offer.”
