Detroit holds a special and pivotal role in some of the most monumental chapters of our nation's history.
From being a stop on the Underground Railroad, guiding many slaves to freedom, to hosting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s debut delivery of the "I Have A Dream" speech at what is now Huntington Place, to the countless icons that have shaped the music, culinary, fashion, medical, and educational industries.
