Thousands of locals and visitors head to Detroit's Eastern Market each week, where they find more than 225 independent merchants and vendors selling everything from fresh produce and flowers to antiques and home goods.

Best Food Tour
Feet on the Street Tours has been offering public and private custom walking, car, and bus experiences in Detroit since 2007. One of the most popular tours is the aptly titled Eastern Market "Come Hungry, Leave Happy" tour featuring historic restaurants and bars, fresh local produce, and Detroit favorites. Food tours also visit Mexicantown, Corktown, Cass Corridor, Downtown, New Center, Hamtramck, and The Villages. Expect to spend a few hours walking and noshing, and take note that you'll need to call or email to set up a tour.
