The Detroit Tigers started the new millennium with a new baseball stadium, which offers convenient access to public transit and is surrounded by great food and a bevy of entertainment. Since moving to the new stadium, the Tigers have won multiple American League pennants.

The Detroit Free Press Marathon prides itself on the diverse and international feel of its racecourse, showing off its iconic neighborhoods, like Woodbridge with its Victorian homes, the historic Eastern Market district, and Dequindre Cut greenway, which is rich in street art. The route even crosses international borders!
