8 Metro Detroit Restaurants Open on Easter Sunday

Restaurants Open on Easter in Detroit
1. Andiamo Detroit Riverfront
Andiamo Detroit Riverfront is now accepting reservations to celebrate Easter Sunday while overlooking the Detroit River. Open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., this well-known restaurant is located inside of the GM Ren Cen.

2. Dime Store
Dime Store, located in the Chrysler House, is a popular American brunch bar, specializing in “breakfast, lunch and booze.” It’s open on Easter Sunday and will offer guests items off of its amazing brunch menu.

Reservation information: Dime Store does not take reservations.
3. Joe Muer Seafood
A highly recommended Easter Sunday dining destination, also with a view of the Detroit River, is Joe Muer Seafood. That day, the restaurant will be offering guests a sit-down buffet, including made-to-order omelets, carving stations, a sushi bar and more.
Cost: $49 for adults, $20 for children six to twelve and free for children under five

4. Selden Standard
Just south of Wayne State’s campus and only two blocks west of the Fisher Music Center, Selden Standard will also be open for brunch on Easter Sunday. This Detroit favorite prides itself on its “flavors born in local farms, captured at the peak of the season, prepared in a wood-fired oven and served small plates style in perfectly shareable portions.” There may be a special menu offered Easter Sunday; however, that will not be decided until the day of.

5. The Whitney
Easter Sunday at The Whitney is to die for. If a three-course Easter brunch menu at a historic 1890s, 52-room mansion appeals to you, make a reservation now; the upscale Detroit dining destination will be open 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. that day.

6. Andiamo Metro Detroit Locations
Andiamo Detroit Riverfront sounds good, but maybe one of the seven other Andiamo locations is closer to home? Good news: they are offering an Easter brunch, too. Visit Andiamo’s website and contact your favorite Andiamo location to see how they are celebrating Easter Sunday this year; every restaurant has something special to offer guests.
7. Meriwether’s (Southfield)
Located off Telegraph in Southfield, Meriwether’s is definitely a central meeting place for friends and family on Easter. Specializing in fresh fish and seafood, as well as tender steaks, pastas, sandwiches and salads, Meriwether’s is offering guests its full dinner menu on April 1.

8. The Dearborn Inn (Dearborn)
Yet another Easter dining option is The Dearborn Inn where guests have the choice of brunching at one of its three restaurants: Edison’s, The Grand Ballroom or the Ten Eyck Tavern.
Cost: Edison’s: $68 per adult, Grand Ballroom: $58 per adult and Ten Eyck Tavern: $20 per adult; all three menus offer a discounted rate for children

The Dearborn Inn
Another eggs-traordinary spot to keep in mind for next year is Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center in Plymouth; it’s already booked for this Easter.
